With a strong passion for story telling, Alexandra has used her years of aerial, dance and physical theatre training to create sophisticated, beautiful and yet sometimes absurd performances.
Her intimate and creative style of performance has graced a variety of international cabaret and theatre stages from Melbourne to London. At home in the UK, she has worked with a number of notable companies including Company Malakhi, Cirque Bijou, Tumbellina International and Dark Island Dance. She is co-producer for The Ministry of Burlesque Show and co-founder of the circus theatre company Lifeboat Productions.
Alex has a strong understanding of teaching and performing aerial, that can only come from her years of dedication and experience in her field of training. This includes The prestigious Centre of Contemporary Circus; Circomedia, UK, Zip Zap in South Africa, La Grainerie in France and Scoula Di Circo in Italy. Aswell as running her own master classes, she also teaches for Circomedia and is a guest teacher for students on the full time FDA course. As well as teaching safe and strong technique, Alex also uses her professional stage experience to guide students with performance ideas, allowing them to develop more confidence and stage presence
