Fred Deb’ (France)
A graduate of the National Centre of Circus Arts (CNAC) in 1992, Fred Deb ‘is precursory of French contemporary circus in the field of air transport.
Since her debut in the French company Arts Sauts, she leads a demanding career that reflects her taste for excellence. Her artistic expression, constantly evolving, reflecting its desire to push the boundaries of a discipline – aerial tissue – of which she is a founder.
Fred Deb‘ continues to refine her search. She asks and questions the world around her. Her current creations are underpinned by this reflection: our lives follow the lines that intersect constantly with the other and it is often through the Other that we managed to define itself. This indoor-outdoor movement led him to develop a language where the bodies are based in the material of the moment. The choreography, the circus techniques, costumes, set design, music, text … come together on stage to sublimate a dramaturgy of everyday life.
Every summer, since its inception, Les Rencontres de Danse Aérienne at French and foreign public appointments around artistic training in aerial disciplines and Circassian, led by internationally renowned professors. The meetings are accompanied by a programming of heterogeneous and multicultural performances, and a number of conferences, debates and film screenings. Fred Deb’et Jacques Bertrand are the founding meetings that take place in July in Pornichet and Saint-Nazaire, the 2 cities are jointly linked to the project.
