Hazel Lam (Belguim)


Hazel Lam started her artistic training when she started learning to play the piano when she was five. She subsequently started taking ballet classes when she was seven and went to pre-professional class at the age of 14. 

In 2006 she graduated from Northern Ballet School in Manchester, England and joined the Cairo Opera Ballet Company as a corps de ballet.  She was soon promoted to be a soloist in the company. 

When she returned to the UK she quickly discovered circus with Swamp Circus North and Greentop Circus. She then joined the professional course at Flic Scuola di Circo in Turin where she became an accomplished aerialist. She also studied at The Circus Space (now NCCA), London specialising in Icarian games. She is currently in creation with her new project “To the Lighthouse”.
