Jamie-Lee McNaughton (Glasgow)

Jamie-Lee began training in solo static trapeze and rope early in 2007 and took up silks and doubles trapeze shortly after. She now teaches these disciplines as well as bungee trapeze and also works in other skills such as acrobalance, aerial hoop, hula hoop and flying trapeze.  She has been an instructor for Aerial Edge for several years.

She has a BA Community Arts degree with principle disciplines in dance and visual art and is passionate about teaching and providing community groups with aerial workshops.  She was the aerial choreographer with Scottish Opera’s Education Department for their ‘Aerial O’ 2013 project – a multi-disciplinary, integrated project. She also works on projects with Loop Theatre – a Glasgow based integrated theatre company – working as a facilitator of counterweight and aerial harness based movement and also as a performer.

Jamie-Lee has performed aerial acts at corporate events, festivals and Aerial Edge productions across Scotland. Jamie-Lee and Seamus have been training doubles trapeze (and acrobalance) together for 2 years and have performed together at several events.
