Marianne and Dannick Chollet aged 26 and 24 competed in Gymnastics from a young age but it was not until they joined a local youth circus that they began their pursuit of a career in circus.
Dannick and Marianne started training and performing at the Spaghetti circus in 1999 with Leonie Mills, founder of the Spaghetti circus. In 2004 they were accepted into NICA (the National Institute of Circus Arts) where they completed a three year bachelor of Arts specializing in duo Teeterboard under the tuition of Vasily Ivanov, former Moscow Circus performer. Since then they have been touring and performing bringing this unique art to audiences everywhere.
1999-2004 Performed with the Spaghetti Circus
In this time they performed in 7 major circus productions (Totally Batty, Spaghetti in Space, Bugs, A Piece of Cake, Tapestry in Time, Decade al Dente, Now and Zen) Some of these shows toured to Adelaide Fringe in 2002 and 2004.
2005-2007 Completed a Bachelor of Arts at NICA
Trained in Basic Aerials, Group Acrobatics, Handstands, Tumbling, Pitching and Russian Swing. Specialized in Duo Teeterboard, Diablo tumbling (Dannick) and Bounce rope (Marianne). NICA performances include (20s05, DiVino season 1, DiVino season 2, Show case) During this time we performed in the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games 2006
2008-2010 Performed with the Spaghetti Circus
In this time they performed in 2 major circus productions (Super Heroes and Teenager) Teenager was toured in Europe in 2010 for the International Youth Circus Festival in London.
2010 Performed with the Invisible Circus
While preparing for the major production of Carny Ville they performed in several festivals in England. While preparing for the major production of Carny Ville they performed in several festivals in England.
